The Site Map supports a picture-in-picture (PIP) video window that floats in a corner of the map, showing a live camera feed alongside your spatial layout.
PIP Modes
Configure the PIP window in Settings > Site Map > Video Preview:
Mode
Behavior
Always On
PIP stays visible at all times, showing the pinned camera's live feed.
Alert Triggered
PIP appears automatically when an event is detected, showing the triggering camera's feed. Hides when the event clears.
Hidden
PIP is disabled.
Configuration Options
Camera — Choose which camera's feed appears in the PIP window. In Alert Triggered mode, this defaults to whichever camera triggered the event.
Position — Select which corner of the screen the PIP window occupies.
Size — Adjust the PIP window size.
Use Case
PIP is especially useful when you're monitoring the Site Map and want to keep a live video feed visible without switching tabs. In Alert Triggered mode, it gives you instant visual confirmation of events right on the map — you see both where something happened (the pulsing pin) and what happened (the PIP video) simultaneously.
