Step 5: Invite Team Members & Manage IC Bunker User Access
Bunker Quick Start · Step 5 of 6
Invite Your Team.
Give your technicians and team members access to the customer's Bunker system with the permissions they need.
Before you begin
Only organization Owners can invite new users.
Invitations must be created in the web app. Site Admins can add people who already belong to the organization using Add Existing Org User, but cannot invite new people.
Part 1 · Send an invitation
Invite a team member.
Add a technician or other team member to the organization, then choose which sites they can access.
Open Invite New User
In the web app, navigate to Manage Organization → Organization Users → Invite New User.
Enter the user's information
Enter their First Name, Last Name and Email Address. For a technician, leave the Organization Owner switch turned off.
Assign access and roles
Click Next to open Assign Access & Roles. For each site, select No Access, View Only or Admin.
Inviting an Owner?
Owners do not need individual site assignments.
When the Organization Owner switch is enabled, the site-assignment step is skipped. The new Owner receives access to every site that exists at the time of invitation.
Submit the invitation
Click Submit. The user receives an email titled "Join [org] on IC Realtime" containing a link to the web app.
Part 2 · Accept the invitation
How your team joins.
The invited user must sign in or create an account using the exact email address that received the invitation.
Sign in or create an account
The invitee signs in to Bunker or creates an account using the same email address entered in the invitation.
Accept the invitation
Select Accept on the You're Invited card on Home, or select Join Organization from the page opened by the invitation email.
Where invitations appear
Invitations can be accepted from the app.
Pending invitations appear as a You're Invited card on Home and Sites. They will also appear in the IC Bunker mobile app once it becomes available in the app stores.
Managing invitations
Invitations expire after 24 hours.
If a user hasn't accepted an invitation, you can resend it or cancel it from Organization Users.
Resend Invite
Sends a fresh invitation and restarts the 24-hour expiration period.
Rescind Invitation
Cancels the pending invitation so it can no longer be accepted.
Access & permissions
Understand Bunker roles.
There is no separate dealer, installer or technician role. Technicians are organization Users with permissions assigned individually for each site.
Organization-level access
Owner
Full access to billing, sites, gateways, cameras, users and remote support grants.
Site-level access
User + Admin
Add and remove cameras and gateways, manage zones, camera groups and site users, and restart or reset the Gateway.
Site-level access
User + View Only
View cameras, live streams, events and saved clips.
Site-level access
User + No Access
No access to that site's cameras, video or settings.
Your team is invited.
Once invitations are sent and the appropriate site permissions are assigned, you're ready to complete the final step: handing Bunker over to the customer.
