Bunker · Quick Start

Let's get your Bunker system online.

From opening the box to handing a working system over to your customer. This guide walks you through the complete Bunker installation process.

About 30 minutes 6 steps Laptop required

Start with Step 1 →

Have these ready.

A few things up front will keep the installation moving once the Gateway is powered on.

  • Bunker Gateway + power supply
The Gateway and power supply that shipped with it.
  • Wired Ethernet connection
On the same network segment as the cameras.
  • Gateway serial number
Printed on the label on the bottom of the Gateway.
  • Camera ONVIF credentials
The admin username and password for the cameras.
  • Payment method
A credit card for checkout, unless the customer is paying.
  • Customer email address
You'll use this when the system is ready for handoff.
  • Laptop with a web browser
Organizations, checkout and invitations are completed on the web.

Important

There is no separate Dealer account type.

During installation, everything is completed as an organization Owner. The customer will also become an Owner when you complete the handoff.

Network requirements

Keep the Gateway and cameras on the same network segment.

The Gateway gets its address by DHCP and requires a normal outbound internet connection. It does not support Wi-Fi, a static IP address or a proxy. No inbound port forwarding is required.

Cameras must support ONVIF Profile S or Profile T. The Gateway takes video over the network only; there are no direct camera inputs. A Gateway supports up to 10 cameras.

If the site uses a strict firewall, contact IC Realtime Support for the required allow list.

Six steps. Box to handoff.

Each step has its own article with the instructions you need to complete that part of the installation.
