Intelligent Motion Detect (iMD)
1. Login to the Web or Local interface of the NVR
2. Select Main Menu > Basic Settings > Motion Detect
Select the appropriate channel and click enable if it is not enabled. Click Apply when finished. See image below:
*Important: Make sure under "Region Setting" that the motion detect regions are set so that the target object is in full view in the highlighted regions.
3. Select iMD on the left side menu. The Intelligent Motion Detect menu will display. See image below:
4. Select the appropriate channel and click enable.

Sensitivity: Set on Low sensitivity if there is too many false positives. Set on High if iMD is not triggering enough. Default setting is Middle.
- Effective Target: You can check in the boxes appropriate boxes for the target type you want iMD to detect.
